Jemimah Rodrigues declared herself fully fit after three months of rehabilitation from a hamstring injury. She sustained the injury on August 3 while playing for Southern Brave in The Hundred.

India Women beat Zimbabwe Women by eight wickets in their most recent ODI at Kotambi Stadium, Vadodara. Zimbabwe Women scored 131 all out while India Women reached 133 for two in 17 overs.

Rodrigues is now available for India's multi-format tour of South Africa scheduled for December. The tour will feature ODIs, T20Is and a Test match.

CricHubb Take

Rodrigues' recovery timeline puts her in contention for the South Africa tour just as India look to rebuild their middle order ahead of the 2028 World Cup cycle. Her ability to bat at number three or four will determine whether the selectors persist with the current top-order combination or revert to a more experienced lineup.
