Ben Duckett scored 167 runs off 132 balls, his highest ODI score, as England posted 386 for five after winning the toss at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Tom Banton made 74 runs and Harry Brook added 44 as England ended their tri-series campaign with their first win after three defeats. Sri Lanka replied with 331 all out in 45.1 overs, with Pavan Rathnayake scoring 118 and Kusal Mendis making 89. Liam Dawson took four wickets for 49 runs to seal the 55-run victory. Kusal Mendis captained Sri Lanka and chose to bowl first. Joe Root laughed when Kusal Mendis's bat snapped in half during the match. England finished the tri-series with three defeats and one win, their first ODI victory in Pakistan since 2005. Brendon McCullum said Brook is one of the best tactical captains.

CricHubb Take

England's series record of three defeats and one win shows the team still needs to find consistency before its white-ball tour of Australia next month.
