Peter Hemp appointed Bangladesh women's head coach
Peter Hemp replaces Sarwar Imran as Bangladesh women's head coach ahead of Australia tour.
Peter Hemp has been appointed head coach of the Bangladesh women's national team ahead of their tour of Australia. He replaces Sarwar Imran, who had been in charge since February 2025.
The appointment comes as the Tigresses prepare for a challenging assignment against Australia. Hemp takes over with the team looking to build on recent progress in the shorter formats.
Bangladesh women's cricket has seen increased investment in recent years, and the new coach will be tasked with maintaining that momentum during the Australia tour and beyond.

A change of coach weeks before a full tour suggests the board wants a reset in planning and selection rather than continuity with the existing staff.
