PCB moves to end Wahab Riaz's role as women's coach
PCB is set to replace Wahab Riaz as women's team coach before the upcoming tour of the West Indies.
Pakistan Cricket Board is preparing to end Wahab Riaz's role as head coach of the women's team. Wahab began mentoring the side in December 2025.
Pakistan women's team has had six different head coaches since 2020. Muhammad Wasim was removed from the position in November 2024 after the ICC Women's 50-over World Cup.
The board has set an internal deadline to appoint a new coach before the team's next international assignment, a tour of the West Indies. The identity of candidates under consideration has not been disclosed publicly.

Frequent coaching changes reflect deeper structural issues in Pakistan women's cricket that new appointments alone may not resolve.
