PCB may impose two-year ban on Imam-ul-Haq over injury controversy

Imam-ul-Haq risks two-year ban; PCB also flags Rizwan discipline concerns.

The PCB is weighing a two-year ban on Imam-ul-Haq after an inquiry into his calf injury during the second Test against England at Lord's.

Imam never batted in either innings once the injury struck. If the investigation finds misconduct, sanctions could follow.

The board has also flagged concerns over wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan's discipline and warned that stricter measures could come his way.

CricHubb Take

If the PCB does ban Imam, the next question is whether the same standard will apply to players who fake niggles before a tour they don't fancy.
