Laxman Sivaramakrishnan approaches LSG owner for spin coaching role
Sivaramakrishnan says he can make spinners match-winners in T20 cricket if given the chance.
Former India cricketer Laxman Sivaramakrishnan has expressed interest in becoming Lucknow Super Giants' spin-bowling coach. He posted on X asking owner Sanjiv Goenka to consider him for the role.
Sivaramakrishnan said he was confident he could deliver results and wanted to show that spinners can be match-winners in T20 cricket. Carl Crowe is currently LSG's spin-bowling coach after joining from Kolkata Knight Riders ahead of IPL 2026.
LSG recently acquired Kuldeep Yadav from Delhi Capitals in exchange for Rishabh Pant. The left-arm wrist spinner claimed 72 wickets in 65 matches for Delhi Capitals over five seasons. Pant was bought by LSG for a record Rs 27 crore before being traded back to Delhi Capitals.
