Royal Challengers Bengaluru signed Australian left-arm spinner Jess Jonassen for Rs 40 lakh and Maharashtra batter Tejal Hasabnis for Rs 30 lakh at the Women's Premier League 2027 mini-auction. Jonassen claimed 33 wickets in 24 matches for Delhi Capitals over three seasons. Hasabnis went unsold in the first round before the franchise secured her in the second accelerated round.

The purchases leave Royal Challengers Bengaluru with Rs 45 lakh from an opening purse of Rs 1.15 crore. The franchise added four players in total during the auction. Indian wicketkeepers are expected to attract the strongest bidding as teams continue to build their squads.

UP Warriorz spent Rs 2.60 crore across eight signings while Delhi Capitals entered the auction with Rs 1.10 crore and five remaining vacancies. Gujarat Giants began with Rs 1.25 crore and three spots to fill.
