Ajay Jadeja says no one could play faster than Abhishek Sharma
Jadeja said Abhishek Sharma's 35-ball century against New Zealand was faster than anything he had seen before.
Former India batter Ajay Jadeja said it seemed no one would be able to play faster than Abhishek Sharma after the opener's 113 off 38 balls against New Zealand. Jadeja made the comment following India's six-wicket win in Wellington on Tuesday.
Abhishek reached his half-century off 15 balls and his century off 35 balls during the record-breaking chase. The left-hander struck 11 sixes and nine fours as India crossed 100 in five overs.
India sealed the series with two matches remaining. The 3-0 lead extends their dominance against New Zealand in bilateral T20I cricket this decade.

Jadeja's comparison places Abhishek in the same conversation as Rohit Sharma's fastest T20I knocks. The difference is that Abhishek is achieving these figures as an opener against quality pace attacks, not against associate nations.
