The International Cricket Council released the full schedule for the 2027 ODI World Cup on Thursday. The 57-match tournament runs from October 2 to November 21 across South Africa, Namibia and Zimbabwe. India begin their campaign against Australia at Newlands in Cape Town on October 7 before meeting Pakistan at the Wanderers in Johannesburg three days later.

India are drawn in Group A alongside Pakistan, Australia, Afghanistan, Zimbabwe and Qualifier A. The top three teams from each group plus the best fourth-placed side advance to the Super 7 stage. The final is set for November 21 at the Wanderers. India could face Pakistan up to three times if both sides reach the Super 7, semi-finals and final.

ICC chairman Jay Shah said the schedule announcement marks a major milestone on the road to the tournament. He added that affordable tickets will be available to bring families and local communities closer to the action.
