Haris Rauf and Will Jacks engaged in a heated verbal exchange during Pakistan's chase against England in the tri-series ODI in Lahore on Sunday. The incident occurred during the 46th over when Sam Curran delivered a bouncer to Shadab Khan, who was batting on 99. Rauf, at the non-striker's end, argued with Jacks after an unsuccessful appeal for a wide.

The on-field umpire intervened as Rauf moved aggressively towards Jacks with his bat in hand. England veteran Joe Root rushed in to separate the players and act as a peacemaker. The disagreement continued during post-match handshakes after Pakistan secured a one-wicket victory.

Shadab Khan remained unbeaten on 113 off 96 balls as Pakistan chased down 242 with Haris Rauf hitting the winning boundary. The partnership of 89 runs for the last wicket completed Pakistan's recovery from 154 for nine.
