Jackson and Scott star on Sheffield Shield debuts for NSW
Two NSW debutants combined to give their side the honours on day one against Tasmania at Cricket Central.
Bryce Jackson took 3 for 36 and fellow debutant Jake Scott claimed 4 for 35 as New South Wales reduced Tasmania to 9 for 241 on the opening day of the Sheffield Shield season in Sydney. Jackson moved from Western Australia after being unable to break into their Shield line-up despite leading their one-day wicket charts. Scott also scored an unbeaten 52 on his state debut in the One-Day Cup earlier this season.
