RCB release Grace Harris ahead of WPL 2027 auction

RCB released four players including Grace Harris while UP Warriorz let go of nine players with the largest purse.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru released Grace Harris, D Hemalatha, Gautami Naik and Linsey Smith ahead of the Women's Premier League 2027 auction. Ellyse Perry returns to the defending champions after missing the 2026 title-winning campaign. UP Warriorz released nine players including Deandra Dottin and Kiran Navgire and enter the auction with the largest purse at INR 3.65 crore. Delhi Capitals let go of Alana King among six players while Mumbai Indians released G Kamalini and Saika Ishaque. Gujarat Giants cut England batter Danielle Wyatt-Hodge. The BCCI confirmed that five teams retained 63 players including 23 overseas recruits leaving 27 slots and seven overseas places to fill.
