Mark Chapman and Zak Foulkes ruled out of India T20I series
Mark Chapman and Zak Foulkes have been ruled out of New Zealand's T20I series against India.
New Zealand's Mark Chapman and Zak Foulkes have been ruled out of the five-match T20I series against India. All-rounder Josh Clarkson and fast bowler Blair Tickner have been named as replacements. Chapman sustained a left hamstring tear during the European T20 league last month.
Foulkes injured his right hip flexor during a recent Canterbury training session. His return timeline remains undetermined. New Zealand head coach Rob Walter said he was gutted for both players.
Chapman is expected to return for the ODIs against India. The updated New Zealand squad includes Mitchell Santner as captain, Finn Allen, Devon Conway, Lockie Ferguson, Matt Henry, Daryl Mitchell, Glenn Phillips and Tim Seifert.
