The Pakistan Cricket Board has asked its selectors to explain why Mohammad Rizwan and Imam-ul-Haq stayed in the Test squad. Pakistan have lost at Lord's and elsewhere on this England tour, and the board wants to know what the thinking was.
Misbah-ul-Haq stepped down from the committee days earlier, and several players and coaches have already been dropped or swapped out. The board's letter landed after those mid-tour changes, not before.
