Rovman Powell and Sherfane Rutherford receive ICC reprimands after second T20I
Powell and Rutherford admitted Level 1 breaches during the second T20I and accepted ICC reprimands without a hearing.
West Indies batter Rovman Powell and Sherfane Rutherford received ICC reprimands and demerit points for Level 1 Code of Conduct breaches during the second T20I against India in Ranchi. Powell was charged under Article 2.2 for striking the ball away with his bat after dismissal by Mayank Yadav. Rutherford faced Article 2.8 charges for showing dissent to umpires after a wide decision.
Both players admitted the offences, which removed the need for a formal hearing. The charges were laid by on-field umpires Jayaraman Madanagopal and Rohan Pandit, third umpire Nitin Menon and fourth umpire Virender Sharma. The duo received their sanctions after West Indies lost the third T20I by 14 runs at Holkar Stadium in Indore on October 11.
The five-match series moves to Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on October 14, with India holding a 2-1 lead.

The sanctions will not alter West Indies' playing XI for the fourth T20I, but they reduce the team's disciplinary buffer for the remainder of the series.
