Litton Das cleared to resume training after hip scan shows no serious damage

Litton Das received positive scan results on his injured hip and will continue rehabilitation ahead of Bangladesh's WTC fixtures.

Bangladesh captain Litton Das got good news on his injured hip. Scans showed no serious damage, so he's cleared to start light rehab.

The white-ball skipper had to leave the UAE tri-nation series early and flew home for assessment. BCB physios have given him gentle exercises and regular treatment. He isn't feeling pain now, but doctors want to check him again in two days before they sign off on a full workload.

If everything stays quiet, Litton will start building toward the WTC Tests against West Indies in Dhaka from October 28 and then South Africa from November 15.

CricHubb Take

Bangladesh will have to juggle Litton's workload carefully across both series, because any setback would leave them short of a settled captain and opener against two attacks that test different skills.
