Harmanpreet Kaur scored an unbeaten 91 from 41 balls to lead India to a 92-run victory over Zimbabwe in the third and final T20I in Raipur on Tuesday. Shafali Verma made 69 from 37 balls as India posted 216 for seven. Zimbabwe replied with 124 for seven, with Sharne Mayers top-scoring on 60.

Captain Smriti Mandhana rested herself from opening to give other batters time in the middle, promoting Anushka Sharma to partner Shafali at the top. The pair added 54 runs for the first wicket before Harmanpreet extended India's six-hitting spree with five maximums. India smashed 62 runs in the last five overs despite losing four wickets.

The teams will now travel to Vadodara for a three-match ODI series starting on Friday. Harmanpreet, who stepped down as captain before the series, said she was pleased to spend time in the middle and enjoy her batting.

The knock came on a surface that rewarded clean ball-striking and gave Harmanpreet the platform she lacked during the Asia Cup, offering a timely reminder that her middle-order role remains central to India's T20 plans ahead of the home Champions Trophy.
