Sunil Gavaskar releases book on former BCCI secretary Sanjay Jagdale
Sunil Gavaskar released a book on former BCCI secretary Sanjay Jagdale's life and contributions to Indian cricket.
Sunil Gavaskar released "Sanjay Jagdale: Rag-Rag Mein Cricket" on Sunday. The book traces the life of the former BCCI secretary, who played 53 first-class matches and later served as coach, Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association secretary and president, BCCI selector, joint secretary and secretary.
Gavaskar said cricket ran through Jagdale's veins and that he'd dedicated his life to the game. He hoped the book would help young cricketers. Jagdale recalled learning plenty from Gavaskar, who stayed available to players even on personal matters.
MPCA secretary Sudhir Asnani attended as a special guest.

The book launch is less about nostalgia and more about documenting institutional memory at a time when administrative roles are increasingly politicised and less about cricket itself.
