India beat New Zealand by four wickets in Christchurch to notch their 200th outright T20I win — in their 300th match overall. They pulled off the chase with a record 68 runs in the final five overs.
Across those 300 games, India have 200 wins, 83 losses, seven ties and ten no-results. Their win-loss ratio of 2.409 leads the top five teams with the most matches.
Pakistan sit second on 176 wins from 304 T20Is. No other side has reached 200 outright victories yet.
CricHubb Take
New Zealand gave India a target that should have been defended, so the chase itself may matter more than the milestone for how this team handles pressure abroad.
