Sai Sudharsan hobbles off field during Tamil Nadu Ranji match
Sai Sudharsan left the field with a leg injury on day two of Tamil Nadu's Ranji Trophy match against Rajasthan in Jaipur.
India batter Sai Sudharsan hobbled off the field on day two of Tamil Nadu's Ranji Trophy match against Rajasthan in Jaipur on Monday. He went down stopping a drive from Karan Lamba at cover off P. Saravana Kumar. The extent of the injury remains unclear and Tamil Nadu have not yet provided an update on his availability.
Sudharsan had been fielding in the covers when the injury occurred during Rajasthan's first innings. He was a last-minute addition to the playing XI after returning from the India A tour. The match continues at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium with both teams looking to secure a strong position before the first innings concludes.
CricHubb Take
A repeat of the toe injury that kept Sudharsan out of the India A series would disrupt Gujarat Titans' batting plans far more than Tamil Nadu's Ranji campaign.
