Pujara picks Nitish Kumar Reddy for fourth T20I against West Indies
Cheteshwar Pujara backed Nitish Kumar Reddy to retain his place in India's fourth T20I against West Indies.
Former India batter Cheteshwar Pujara picked Nitish Kumar Reddy for the fourth T20I against West Indies in Hyderabad. Pujara said Reddy has done a good job and deserves another chance after scoring 30 runs and taking two wickets across the first three matches.
Pujara recommended an unchanged top order with Sanju Samson and Abhishek Sharma opening, Ishan Kishan at number three, Shreyas Iyer at four and Tilak Varma at five. He placed Reddy at six and Naman Dhir at seven, with Axar Patel at eight. Pujara said the only selection question is whether to play Prince Yadav or Kuldeep Yadav depending on the pitch.
India leads the five-match series 2-1 after winning the third T20I by 14 runs in Indore. The fourth match takes place at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Wednesday.

Pujara's suggestion to keep the same top order reflects the success of India's aggressive approach in the third T20I. The choice between Prince Yadav and Kuldeep Yadav will depend on how much the Hyderabad pitch assists spin.
