The Pakistan Cricket Board has asked its selection committee to explain why Mohammad Rizwan and Imam-ul-Haq stayed in the Test squad. The request came after Pakistan lost to England by 194 runs at Lord's.
Misbah-ul-Haq resigned once the PCB released seven players from the tour. Reports say the board had looked at banning Imam-ul-Haq after a 2025 probe found he faked an injury.
