Trinbago Knight Riders have retired Dwayne Bravo's No. 47 jersey, making him the first player in Caribbean Premier League history to receive the honour. The franchise made the announcement during the current CPL campaign. News18 reported that Bravo won four titles with TKR, including two as captain during his playing career.
The 41-year-old currently serves as head coach at TKR and remains one of the most influential figures in franchise cricket. His 129 wickets and multiple championship wins established him as a cornerstone of the team's success. The retirement recognises his contribution both as player and mentor.
Bravo has won five CPL titles across his career with different franchises. CricTracker reported that the franchise recognised him for six titles and 129 wickets during his time with TKR. The club has not indicated whether the number will remain permanently retired.
