West Indies chase 249 as Shai Hope hits unbeaten 102
West Indies level the series 1-1 after a record chase in Ranchi.
West Indies chased down India's 249 for five to win the second T20I by six wickets in Ranchi on Friday. Shai Hope remained unbeaten on 102 from 45 balls and Sherfane Rutherford scored 84 from 37 as the visitors reached their target in 18.3 overs.
India captain Shreyas Iyer said dew affected grip for the spinners and left no margin for error. Axar Patel finished with none for 63 and Kuldeep Yadav one for 53. Mayank Yadav took three wickets but could not stem the flow of runs.
The third T20I is scheduled for Holkar Stadium in Indore on Sunday.

Bumrah's absence turns every dew-affected pitch into a tactical problem rather than a bowling one. Without the variation he provides at the death, the margin for error collapses the moment the ball stops gripping.
