India will play Sri Lanka in the men's cricket semi-final of the 2026 Asian Games at Korogi Sports Park in Nisshin on Thursday. The Japan Meteorological Agency has forecast clear weather with zero chance of rain.
India reached the semi-final without playing a ball after their quarter-final against Afghanistan was washed out. Sri Lanka also advanced without contesting a match.
If the semi-final is abandoned, India will progress to the final as the higher-ranked team. The gold medal will be shared if the final is washed out.

India's path to the gold medal has been decided by rankings and weather, not runs or wickets.
