The Bangladesh Cricket Board wrote to the Afghanistan Cricket Board after Afghanistan U19 captain Sohail Khan bowled an 11th over in the third ODI against Bangladesh U19 on Wednesday. Bangladesh coach Hannan Sarkar said the team noted the issue in the captain's report.
Sarkar explained that the official scorer had credited one over to another player, so the team only spotted the extra over after Sohail finished it. Bangladesh also flagged two umpiring decisions — an LBW and a caught-behind.
A BCB official said the letter simply asked the ACB to watch these details more closely in future series.
