Sonal Dinusha's unbeaten 133 helped Sri Lanka draw the second Test and deny India a clean sweep of the series.
Sri Lanka produced a remarkable fightback on the final day of the second Test against India in Colombo to force a draw. Sonal Dinusha remained unbeaten on 133 as Sri Lanka reached 429 for nine after being asked to follow on.
India won the first Test in Galle by 165 runs and took the two-match series 1-0. Dinusha scored four fifty-plus scores across the series, drawing comparisons to Sachin Tendulkar from BCCI vice-president Rajeev Shukla.
Sri Lanka began the final day with a 16-run lead and six wickets in hand after reaching 229 for six on day four. The hosts' resilience prevented India from completing a 2-0 series victory.
