Megan Schutt suspended for two matches over medication breach
Schutt banned for two matches after breaching prescription medication guidelines.
Megan Schutt will sit out two matches after Cricket Australia ruled she breached prescription medication rules. The 33-year-old apologised on Thursday for the single out-of-competition incident, which was unrelated to performance enhancement.
She took 10 wickets in Australia's recent ODI series against Bangladesh and will now miss the third T20 against New Zealand and the Adelaide Strikers' opening WBBL fixture. The veteran has 114 ODIs and 126 T20Is to her name.
Schutt said she accepted the penalty without question and thanked those who have supported her.

The suspension lands right before the T20 World Cup window, forcing Australia to decide whether to blood a new middle-over option or lean harder on the pace battery already in place.
