Misbah-ul-Haq has offered to resign as Pakistan selector following the PCB's sweeping mid-series overhaul during the England tour. The former captain stepped down after the board released seven players and made major changes after Pakistan lost the Lord's Test by 194 runs. The mass changes came after Pakistan lost the first two Tests of the series and were unable to compete consistently. Misbah will depart from the PCB after serving his notice period. The third Test begins on September 9 at Edgbaston.
