The ICC announced that the Women's U-19 T20 World Cup 2027 will run from 21 January to 6 February across Bangladesh and Nepal. Sixteen teams will compete in 41 matches at four venues in the two host countries.

Defending champions India will begin their title defence against the West Indies on 22 January in Kathmandu. Bangladesh and Nepal will also play on the opening day against the UAE and Ireland respectively.

The semi-finals are scheduled for 4 February in Chattogram, with the final set for 6 February at the same venue.

CricHubb Take

Hosting the tournament across two countries creates new logistical challenges but also expands the talent pool that young players from smaller nations can access. The format rewards depth over star power.
