Ishan Kishan and Tilak Varma scored half-centuries as India sealed a 2-0 T20I series win over Zimbabwe.
Ishan Kishan and Tilak Varma struck half-centuries as India beat Zimbabwe by 90 runs in the second T20I to complete a 2-0 series sweep. Kishan finished with 68 off 41 balls after India recovered from 34 for 3 to post 219 for 5. Tilak Varma contributed 54.
Prince Yadav took two wickets before leaving the field with a suspected left hamstring strain. Zimbabwe managed only 129 in reply. Captain Shreyas Iyer praised the middle-order recovery after early losses.
Kishan said the side decided against chasing a 250-plus total and instead focused on building partnerships. The series win gives India momentum ahead of next month's T20I tour of Sri Lanka.
