England's third straight defeat removes them from tri-series final contention in Pakistan.

England sit at the bottom of the tri-series table after losing their third consecutive match. Sri Lanka's win over England eliminated the visitors from contention for the tri-series final. The match was played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

England were fined 15 percent of their match fee for bowling three overs short of their target over rate. Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf received one demerit point and a fine for a code of conduct breach. Rauf now has three demerit points in a 24-month period.

England's elimination leaves Sri Lanka and Pakistan to contest the final. The tri-series continues with the remaining matches between the host nations.

CricHubb Take

England's over-rate fine compounds their poor tournament showing and highlights ongoing issues with their bowling unit's discipline. The visitors now face a must-win mindset for their remaining tour matches.
