The visitors hold a 122-run first-innings lead after two days. Three batters passed fifty on a pitch that's been offering real help to the bowlers, and Somerset lost an early wicket before stumps.

Three half-centuries from the middle order is a statement of depth — but Warwickshire will need to bowl well on day three. Somerset's batting depth hasn't been tested yet, and a long tail could turn 122 into a much bigger advantage if the pitch continues to misbehave.
