Musheer Khan falls for 96 as North Zone fight back in Duleep quarter-final

Musheer Khan's 96 and Gaikwad's run-out help North Zone defeat West Zone by 52 runs in Duleep Trophy.

Musheer Khan scored 96 before being dismissed as North Zone defeated West Zone in the Duleep Trophy quarter-final. The run-out of West Zone captain Ruturaj Gaikwad for 66 proved the turning point of the match.

Gaikwad and Khan had added 111 runs for the third wicket before the captain's dismissal broke the partnership. North Zone's bowlers then restricted West Zone's reply to secure a 52-run victory.

Arshdeep Singh took four wickets in his first first-class appearance in over a year. North Zone advance to the semi-finals of the competition.
