Pakistan chase 326 to win tri-series final by three wickets, Fakhar Zaman scores 127

Pakistan chased down 326 to beat Sri Lanka by three wickets in the tri-series final at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Saturday. Fakhar Zaman scored 127 from 99 balls despite a bruised knee, while Arafat Minhas contributed 61 from 31 deliveries. Saad Baig made 74 and Hasan Nawaz remained unbeaten on 37.

Sri Lanka posted 325 for 8, led by Kamindu Mendis's 131 from 128 balls and Pavan Rathnayake's 77. Salman Agha, Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah each took two wickets for Pakistan. The victory gave Pakistan its first ODI tri-series title since 2008 and equalled the country's highest successful run chase in an ODI final.

Pakistan was fined 5 percent of its match fee for a slow over-rate after finishing one over short. Mohammad Yousuf separately expressed concern over Babar Azam's form in the tournament and advised him to seek specialised coaching in Australia or South Africa.
