MI Emirates signed Fazalhaq Farooqi for a record fee at the ILT20 auction as several players crossed the USD 300,000 mark.

MI Emirates signed Afghanistan left-arm pacer Fazalhaq Farooqi for a record bid at the ILT20 auction. Farooqi, Liam Livingstone and Rahmanullah Gurbaz all breached the USD 300,000 mark during the sale.

Babar Azam will head the Pakistan contingent at Vipers after the franchise secured his services. The ILT20 season is scheduled to begin later this year.

Farooqi has been a consistent performer for Afghanistan across formats and will add depth to MI Emirates' pace attack in the T20 league.
