North Zone reach Duleep Trophy semi-finals after victory over West Zone

North Zone secured a 52-run victory over West Zone in the Duleep Trophy quarter-final at Bengaluru. Abid Mushtaq took nine wickets to power North Zone to the semi-finals. The turning point came when West Zone skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad was run out for 66 after a 111-run stand with Musheer Khan.

Musheer Khan fell for 96 as North Zone fought back after West Zone looked set to take control. Gaikwad's dismissal on 66 off 70 balls shifted momentum toward the visitors on the third day.

North Zone will face the winner of the other quarter-final in the semi-finals. The match was played on a red-soil pitch that took 25 wickets to spin.
