Rachin Ravindra ruled out of New Zealand T20I series against India

Rachin Ravindra has been ruled out of New Zealand's five-match T20I series against India after dislocating his right shoulder during a promotional shoot. The all-rounder is expected to require around six weeks to recover and hopes to return for the ODI series starting November 4.

New Zealand named a 16-man squad led by Mitchell Santner, featuring a seven-strong pace attack including Adam Milne's return after more than a year out. The series begins on October 22 at Hagley Oval in Christchurch and will be played across 11 days in four cities.

Thirteen players from the squad that finished runner-up to India in the T20 World Cup final have been retained, including Michael Bracewell and Adam Milne. Tim Seifert and Finn Allen will open the batting together for the first time since their World Cup campaign.
