Rishabh Pant returns from injury to hit 95-metre six

Rishabh Pant is set to resume batting after being struck on the wrist during the Colombo Test.

Rishabh Pant is expected to resume his innings on day two of the Colombo Test after retiring hurt on day one. A bouncer from Lahiru Kumara struck him on the left wrist, forcing him off the field during India's first innings.

India's batting coach Sitanshu Kotak confirmed Pant appears fine and should be available to bat again if required. The wicketkeeper had made three runs before the blow ended his first innings.

Pant had already surpassed several Indian records in the series before the injury.
