Rishabh Pant misses the fourth innings of the Irani Cup due to fever as Rest of India win by 167 runs.
Rest of India captain Rishabh Pant was absent as his side took the field in the fourth innings to defend 278 against Jammu and Kashmir in the Irani Cup on Sunday. Pant, who scored 10 off 36 balls in the first innings batting at five, unusually came to bat at number eight in the third innings before getting out for eight off 18 balls.
Pant is down with fever, with Uttar Pradesh's Aryan Juyal keeping wickets in his place at the moment. With only J and K's chase to go, it is unlikely that Pant will take any further part in the contest. The match is being played in Srinagar.
