Morkel wants younger players to pick Kohli and Rohit's brains

Morkel said India wants younger players to seek technical and tactical advice from Kohli and Rohit during nets and meetings.

India bowling coach Morne Morkel said the team is deliberately creating opportunities for younger players to seek advice from Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma during training sessions. He said different players feel more comfortable speaking to certain senior individuals and that India is fortunate to have that experience in the dressing room.

Morkel said the management throws out questions in team meetings for the seniors to answer and encourages younger players to ask technical or tactical questions while batting in the nets. He cited examples such as picking Kohli's brain or speaking to Rohit about the new ball.

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli interacted with a specially-abled child during India's training session in Thiruvananthapuram ahead of the first ODI against West Indies on Sunday.
