Roston Chase captains West Indies in Sylhet Test

Roston Chase was named West Indies captain for the second Test against Bangladesh in Sylhet. They lost two early wickets on day one after electing to bat at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.

The visitors haven't lost a Test series this year, and coach Daren Sammy said the team wants a 2-0 sweep as a Christmas present. Bangladesh lost the first Test by eight wickets in Dhaka and are weighing a move away from their spin-first approach.

West Indies reached 123 for three at stumps, with Amir Jangoo unbeaten on 52 and Kevin Wickham on 44. Mushfiqur Rahim is expected back in the Bangladesh XI, while Taijul Islam could drop out.
