Jaiswal's three-ball duck highlights concerns over aggressive approach

Gill and Jaiswal returned to form while bowlers sharpened their skills in the final warm-up before Galle.

Shubman Gill eased back into batting with 44 runs and showed no discomfort from the finger injury he picked up in practice. Yashasvi Jaiswal made 61 before retiring hurt, and Rishabh Pant settled in for 28 after a slow start.

Sri Lanka head coach Gary Kirsten watched the final day at the Nondescripts Cricket Club Ground. India's bowlers — Mohammed Siraj, Prasidh Krishna and Gurnoor Brar — went at full intensity, and the spinners got time on a surface that started to turn.

India won by six wickets chasing 207. They leave for Galle on August 15 after two full-intensity sessions and a three-day warm-up since arriving on August 4.
