Rinku Singh scores unbeaten 118 in Ranji Trophy
Rinku Singh made an unbeaten 118 as Uttar Pradesh posted 202 against Goa in the Ranji Trophy. The innings was his second century of the season.
Rinku Singh walked in with Uttar Pradesh in trouble and pulled them out of it — an unbeaten 118 that took UP to 202 all out against Goa on day one. Yash Kaswankar took five for 86, but Rinku's knock was the innings that mattered.
It's his second hundred of the season and his 11th in first-class cricket. He's now passed Uttar Pradesh's previous record for centuries. Goa replied with 43 for no loss, trailing by 159 runs.
What stands out isn't just the runs. Rinku's become the man UP turn to when the top order collapses — he anchors, he builds, he doesn't panic. At a time when India's middle order needs bodies, that pattern's getting harder to ignore.
