Queen's Park Oval names stand after Bravo, Pollard and Narine
Queen's Park Oval renames Trini Posse Stand after Dwayne Bravo, Kieron Pollard and Sunil Narine during Trinidad and Tobago's Independence Day celebrations.
Queen's Park Cricket Club has renamed the former Trini Posse Stand at Queen's Park Oval after Dwayne Bravo, Kieron Pollard and Sunil Narine. The ceremony took place on August 31 as Trinidad and Tobago marked its 64th Independence Day. The honour places the three cricketers alongside a distinguished group of Trinidad and Tobago legends whose names are associated with the ground. Bravo, Pollard and Narine have all become major figures in international and franchise T20 cricket.

The renaming of a stand at the home ground of one CPL franchise after three players who have spent much of their T20 careers elsewhere underscores how franchise success has become the dominant measure of legacy for West Indian cricketers, even at the venues that first produced them.
