Suryakumar Yadav reveals selection panel's message before T20I omission

Suryakumar Yadav said the Ajit Agarkar-led selection panel told him it was time to move on before his omission from the T20I squad.

Despite a strong leadership record in the format, Yadav was replaced as captain by Shreyas Iyer and left out of the squad entirely. The decision followed India's group-stage exit at the T20 World Cup earlier this year.

Yadav indicated he has accepted the panel's decision and will focus on his domestic and IPL commitments going forward.
