Suryansh Shedge and Angkrish Raghuvanshi join Mumbai squad for Ranji match
Raghuvanshi replaces injured Mhatre and Shedge replaces Jaiswal in Mumbai's 16-member squad.
Angkrish Raghuvanshi and Suryansh Shedge have been added to Mumbai's Ranji Trophy squad for the fixture against Himachal Pradesh that starts on Sunday in Bilaspur. Raghuvanshi replaces Ayush Mhatre, who tore his right hamstring in the season opener against Chandigarh and faces four to six weeks out.
Shedge comes in for Yashasvi Jaiswal, who is heading to India A duty in New Zealand. Raghuvanshi is expected to open alongside Divyaansh Saxena. Mumbai's campaign began with a three-day win over Chandigarh.
Shedge's inclusion follows speculation about a possible India ODI call-up for the upcoming series in New Zealand.
CricHubb Take
Shedge's dual presence in the Mumbai squad and the India A setup positions him for a late call-up if Nitish Reddy's workload is managed ahead of the New Zealand ODIs.
