East Zone defeated Central Zone by four wickets in the Duleep Trophy semi-final at Bengaluru. Both teams scored 266 in the first innings before East Zone chased a revised target on day three.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi scored 92 from 81 balls, including a fifty reached in 42 deliveries. Central Zone finished day two on 45 for three in their second innings.

East Zone will contest the final for the eighth time in the competition's history.
