Dasun Shanaka scored the fastest century in Caribbean Premier League history, reaching three figures off 43 balls for St Kitts and Nevis Patriots against St Lucia Kings on Thursday. He finished unbeaten on 121 as the Patriots posted 235 for 7.
St Lucia Kings were bowled out for 98 in reply, handing the Patriots their largest win by runs in CPL history. Jeremiah Louis took a maiden T20 five-for for the winners.
Shanaka's innings broke the previous record of 40 balls held jointly by Andre Russell and Tim Seifert. The Patriots moved up the CPL 2026 standings with the victory.
