Travis Head posts AI clip trolling Temba Bavuma
Australia have now won their last four Tests at Kingsmead since 2006.
Australia opener Travis Head posted an AI-generated clip on Instagram showing South Africa captain Temba Bavuma looking stunned after the Proteas’ 214-run defeat in Durban on Tuesday. The loss handed Bavuma his first defeat in 13 Tests as captain.
Josh Hazlewood took 6 for 49 as Australia bowled South Africa out for 206 while chasing 421. The result gave Australia a 1-0 lead in the three-match series and dropped South Africa to third in the World Test Championship 2025-27 table.
Bavuma said his side must learn from Australia’s aggressive approach and will review their performance before the second Test.
